New House--First Night
We welcomed our first visitors yesterday--my sister, Meredith, and her dog Riley. Riley is a Rottweiller-German Shepard. He, like all of his kind, is not permitted inside. It's one of the first house rules we agreed on--no Germans allowed.

My grandpappy didn't fight in two world wars so that you guys would have to allow Germans in your house. Way to stick up for what's right, guys.
It saddens me that I am unable to attend any of your shindigs.
