Mon. Dec 5 Hawks-Eagles Philly Cheesesteak Fest

When: 5:30pm (game begins at appx. 6pm)

What we will serve: Philly cheesestakes, made from thin-sliced rib-eye steaks. Not "Steak-Umms." With Cheez Whiz and brutally sauteed onions and/or peppers.

What to bring: Beer.

Why: The Philadelphia Eagles are playing the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. We'd all be watching this game anyway, but credit David with this thought: "Cheesesteaks would make it better." Let's face it--the man soaked up Philly like a sponge.

Whom to invite: Fans of football or steak.

Whom to not invite: Anyone who is even remotely likely to monologue about either a) football being an expression of our militaristic national culture; or b) excessive meat consumption being responsible for national obesity or third-world poverty. Leave MoonShadow and Dr. Chadwick P.L. Frobisher-Ortiz, Ph.D., at home.

Please RSVP to one of us so's we know how much steak to buy.
