Must Love Dogs

On Sunday we all got a glorious surprise, in the form of a doggy.

Now, unlike some other dog we could mention, this little guy wrestled and ran around with us. Oh, the Sunday we had. It turns out the collarless black lab was loose in the neighborhood. Since we look like the biggest suckers on the block she ended up in our fenced in backyard. Funny how the people who asked if we could helped out disappeared.

We feed the dog, played with the dog, and spent hours rubbing its belly. We even let it in the house after it spent three hours staring through the kitchen door. We simply told Jason she was our friend from out of town, who was depressed about the demise of the MISL.

Meredith, who spent the early afternoon with us before she realized that Seth and David planned on going through with their threat of watching a Mariners Spring Training game, came by later and took the dog to her dog lounge.

We are happy to report that the dog, a.k.a Ruby, has been reunited with her mommy. Meredith called the pound and she'd been reported missing. The owner lives in Greenlake--they aren't sure how she got out, but evidently Ruby's brother chews off her collar, explaining why she didn't have one.

It was fun while it lasted, and David is still a few years away from Denholm.
