Halloween evening

David and I went to the Kiwi and Kangaroo, it was totally dead there, and, since none of our female friends would come out, we were the two loser guys dressed up in the corner.

Dressed up brilliantly, may I add, as a football coach (David, in a sweater vest with extra paunch) and a backup quarterback (me, in headphones and a visor).

A work friend was over at St. Andrews, so we went over there, but she left at nine. So we were the loser guys again, until we struck up a conversation with a attractive and charming bar regular (full disclosure: she struck up the conversation--I know, I know,) who lured us into a drinking game called "flipcup." The point of flipcup is to get really drunk, and that's what happened. We stumbled home at about midnight. Another successful Halloween, though it would've been more successful if the attractive and charming bar regular didn't have "a boyfriend in Mexico."

Funny how she brought up the boyfriend right after we mentioned our house blog.
